In a blink February was over! So great to see all of you at conference time! Thanks so much for all you do to support your fantastic fourth grader! I love em to pieces! They're so much fun!

Love the crazy hair! Check out the "energy" during our dance party!

Math: Fractions have been our target. Your mathematician has been decomposing fractions and representing decompositions using area models, sums of unit fractions, and multiplication sentences. Now we are composing larger fractions using division and demonstrating equivalency.

Reading: Together they are creating slides to teach the class a new vocabulary word from our reading selections. They must have the definition, part of speech, syllabication, sentences using the word correctly in context, and an illustration that demonstrates the meaning. Presentations are next.

Reading superstars reap rewards!

Writing: All authors have shared their narratives and some very impressive work was done. It gave me goosebumps when I heard all the descriptive language and word choices. This week's one to answer: Write a great descriptive sentence using a strong verb and a dress up.

Art: Somebody got our special valentine. Thanks Mrs. Degroat and Mrs. Peffer!

Some of my favorite valentines!

Something to remember daily!
