Just a couple more days and the holiday is upon us.
This week's tidbits to think about come from kid reporter,
Emmy Hill.

This week on tech day in library, the class was told about code.org . Mrs.Peters told us that the student who has passed the most levels gets a $10 gift card. Remember, any level counts! Mrs.Peters did not mention when the winner will be announced so stay on the safe side and finish levels fast.

In P.E my class started a floor hockey unit! Talk about fun!

In music class it was a week of relaxation as a reward for our great performance during the Winter Extravaganza and we earned our 50 points. Next Tuesday we will vote on what our celebration will be. Last time we earned 50 points, we played a game called Mystery Dancer. I wonder what we are going to do this time? Are you?

This 21st we are having a gift exchange in honor of the upcoming holiday, CHRISTMAS! The money limit is $5.00 so that it is fair for everyone. Imagine if one person got an IPOD touch and another  person got a pair of socks. It would be so unfair so please spend $5.00 or less so that everyone is happy.

If it’s Thursday be on the lookout. For what? Weekly updates. Every week we get a report on our behavior and parents need to see it and sign it. If a student remembers to get it signed they get an extra recess so help your child remember to get it signed and make sure that it makes it back to school so they get a little extra fun.

Solving division problems using a place value chart, the standard algorithm, and always checking work with multiplication. Have your mathematician choose a division expression to solve for you.
